Scan or manually enter a barcode. If found, the barcode will be highlighted green in the racer’s list of scanned barcodes. A red exclamation mark indicates that a new barcode has been found and is not allowed for this racer.
Yes, Racer Scan tire barcode scanning software is Bluetooth compatible with a scan gun. Please email [email protected] for any questions and the scan gun we use.
You can view and print a complete list of racers and their scanned barcodes for each class either through https://data.racerscan.com or directly in the app. To generate a PDF, click the “PDF” button at the bottom of the race class list. If you’re using a mobile device, ensure that pop-up blocking is disabled in your settings. For any questions or assistance, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
Once a location is added to a barcode, it remains unchanged, even if deleted from the barcode locations dropdown. The same goes for the location’s spelling which cannot be edited after being added. In the racer detail, the location, time stamp, and barcode cannot be modified, only deleted. A new field, ‘Tire Note,’ allows inspectors to add notes if a change is needed.
